A tranquil retreat to create and rejuvenate
Location
Calico Cove is located at 621 Kennamer Cove Rd, Woodville, AL. It is situated on a private farm with gorgeous views. It is secluded, but so convenient to several local attractions, restaurants and shops.
There are eateries within minutes, as well as a grocery store. You are just 30 minutes from Huntsville, Guntersville or Scottsboro. So be sure to check out local attractions such as: Cathedral Caverns,
Unclaimed Baggage, Space and Rocket Center, Guntersville Lake and more. Huntsville has several quilt
shops if you want to make a day shopping trip!
Amenities
Calico Cove is a fully equipped retreat house. Sleeping up to 6 people for over-night stays or
accommodating 8-10 for day classes or conferences. While created for quilters, it is perfect for any crafting or sewing related activities. The house is also great for one day
workshops for your quilt guild or small-group.
Kitchen includes: Basic pots and pans, slow-cooker, toaster, dishes, cups and mugs utensils, Keurig coffee maker, tea kettle, casserole dishes, cookie and pizza pans. There is a dishwasher and necessary cleaners. Laundry room available for those staying at least 4 nights.
Quilting Shop
Calico Dry Goods has all of your essential needs ready to purchase on site. Also a selection of fabrics and quilt patterns and templates to try something new. Payments can be made by Paypal or check. You can also make purchases after the retreat on my Etsy shop:

When You turn onto Kennamer Cove Rd. at the Calico Sign, take the curve of the road to the left.(it is not the red brick house you see from the main road) You will see the blue mailbox across from the gated gravel drive. That is the gravel road up the hill to the house.
